JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Google Maps.
However, it seems JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser.
To view Google Maps, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, and then try again.

There are three options here, depending on where the wind is blowing.

The pilots show two bays to the SW of Carsaig, but the easternmost one is a little less sheltered and usually has moorings. This is my preferred anchorage if there's any south in the wind:

To the north, there is an obvious reef running down the middle of the sound. There is good holding and shelter between the reef and Carsaig Island. There are usually a couple of moorings, but there is still plenty of room. The only drawback to this anchorage is that you are likely to be tide-rode.
